Adobe AIR: Erste Tablet-optimierte Facebook-App für PlayBook

Heute ist eine Facebook-Anwendung für das BlackBerry PlayBook erschienen. Das Besondere daran ist zum Einen, dass es für das iPad noch keine solche (offizielle) Facebook-Anwendung gibt. Zum Anderen ist die Anwendung in Adobe AIR entwickelt worden, wie der Beschreibung in BlackBerrys App World zu entnehmen ist (vgl. Apps für das BlackBerry PlayBook entwickeln).

You can browse and interact with highlights in the News Feed, post status updates and easily upload photos to your Wall from the BlackBerry PlayBook Picture Library, connect with your Facebook friends instantly using Facebook Chat, see Profiles and Pages, seamlessly view links and videos in the BlackBerry Playbook browser, and even view photos and videos in full 1080p HD by connecting the BlackBerry PlayBook to an HD TV.

Die App ist wirklich gut gemacht. Sie wartet mit vielen Features auf, so dass man nicht den Eindruck hat, eingeschränkt zu sein. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist an Touchscreens angepasst und trotzdem sehr nah an die Facebook-Website, wodurch die Bedienung sofort zu verstehen und intuitiv ist.

Ich denke, eine gute Referenzbeispiel, was mit der mobilen Variante von Adobe AIR möglich. Hier ein Video, das die App vorstellt.
